Miigwech for starting the conversation!

Syllabics are at the forefront of our designs to indigenize colonized spaces. We encourage support from non Indigenous allies to help us start the conversation and draw attention to the beautiful Indigenous languages across Turtle Island.

The syllabics are Ojibwe.

aaniin is a common greeting by Ojibwe speakers. While it is used to say hello, the word actually translates to "I see your light".

We hope that aaniin's apparel is used to say hello and to spark conversations about Indigenous languages, and to increase visibility of Indigenous symbols in an increasingly urbanized world.
