Mino Ode Designs Ceramics
Jacqueline Shaver is an Anishinaabe artist living in the Niagara Region of Ontario. After reconnecting with her father in 2020, she started to explore beadwork and create pieces using traditional Anishinaabe designs in soft colours. Further exploration of beadwork led her to handpainted beadwork patterns onto her handmade pottery in colours and designs that are joyful. Recently she has incorporated her beadwork with her ceramic pieces making one of a kind celebrations of Anishinaabe culture and community.
NEW: Jacqueline's products that are being launched during the pop up are the beaded vases. They are handmade ceramic vases that are handpainted. Once they have been fired twice in the kiln handmade beadwork is added to them. They are made with the themes of connection and community.
