In January 2015, Jenn Harper had a vivid dream of little Indigenous girls wearing bright lip glosses. That dream inspired the creation of Cheekbone Beauty, one of the first Canadian Indigenous-owned cosmetic brands. After reconnecting with her Anishinaabe roots and learning from her grandmother about the impacts of residential schools, Jenn set out to build a beauty company where Indigenous people feel seen and represented. Based in St. Catharines, Ontario, Cheekbone Beauty is committed to delivering high-quality colour cosmetics that honour culture, community, and conscious creation.
